Here is how it works. If you will allow me to create your simple website for the experience I will charge you nothing. The site will be designed to be cross browser compatible and Web Standards compliant. And will have a sitemap file and a robots.txt file for Search Engine Optimization. The site will be designed to your specifications as to colors and layout. The complexity of the site will depend on the level of experience I am at the time of your request. I will make no guarantees that I will be able to make a design to meet your needs and if the complexity exceeds my ability I will refer you to a reputable web developer that can.

Here is all that the site will cost you. You will pay me nothing. However each site requires a Hosting Service to be published on the internet. I currently am affiliated with 2 hosting services. Hostmonster Web Hosting and DreamHost Web Hosting. If you should choose to use one of these services I will be paid a referral fee by the service. You may choose any hosing service you want and I will still build the site for you for free.
