What Is The X56 Porject?

  This project is basically a means for me to use some of the skills that I have been learning over the past several months.  At the age of 55 having been leagally blind for nearly 7 years I found a need to keep my mind engaged in something and it turned out to be web site design.  I took at it with a fervor that cost me dearly sometimes in support forums where I presented some real junnk.  I have been attempting to learn html, xhtml, css, and Java Script.  I also have stuck my head in the door of C#, Expression Blend, Expression Design and Expression Encoder while using Expression Web3 as my primary editor.  I however have been lacking in practice thus this project.  If it seems like I have alot of "gadgets" on this page it is becauseI am trying things out.  Please indulge me as you view it.  Any suggestions as to how to do things better or easier please let me know.
