About EWD Who We Are, and What We Do

EWD is EberWeb Design located in North East Florida. It is a small venture and the inspiration and ambition of Mike Ebersole that is me. I am 55 years old at the date of the creation of this page. I have worked in many vocations and locations with the latest being a Paramedic. I retired from the job I so loved because I became legally blind. One of the things that so intrigued me as a paramedic was that the field is evolving at a exponential pace. What we had not even dreamed about 5 years prior we were doing today. That is also what has drawn me to web design. The technologies and the possibilities are endless and at a time in my life when I might have withdrawn it has kept my mind active and looking toward the future in what I could not even imagine when I could see normally I am doing TODAY!
And that is where you come in. As I
progress in my learning and experience as a web designer I am constantly
looking for projects to "train" with. At this point I can make a
reasonable simple web site that is cross browser combatable. Which
is to say it will display properly in most browsers, Opera, Safari, IE 6, 7
and 8, Google Chrome and sometimes Firefox. And Web Standard
compliant site. The level of complexity that I will be able to
offer you depends on how far down the road you join me on the journey.
